Newly qualified teachers (NQTs): non-contact time entitlement

Is an NQT entitled to extra non-contact time? NQTs undergoing induction are entitled to a reduced timetable. We set out how this works alongside PPA, and which activities are included. We also point to guidance on funding and arrangements for NQTs working as supply teachers.
