How many outstanding teachers does a school need to be judged outstanding? There is no set percentage of ‘outstanding’ lessons inspectors must observe to judge teaching ‘outstanding’. Ofsted judges lessons and pupil progress, rather than individual teachers, when grading the quality of teaching.
