How to Enable Cookies

Internet Explorer

Version 7.x

  1. Click Tools on the menu at the top of your browser and select Internet Options
  2. Select the Privacy tab at the top of the screen
  3. Click the 'Sites' button
  4. Enter http://www.usethekey.org.uk into the Address box and click Allow
  5. Click OK and close the remaining dialog boxes

Version 6.x

  1. Click Tools on the menu at the top of your browser and select Internet Options
  2. Click the Privacy tab at the top of the screen
  3. Move the slider to Medium and click OK

Version 5.x

  1. Click Tools on the menu at the top of your browser and select Internet Options
  2. Click the Security tab at the top of the screen
  3. Click Custom Level and scroll down to the Cookies section
  4. Set "Allow per-session cookies" to Enable and click OK

Version 4.x

  1. Click View on the menu at the top of your browser and select Internet Options
  2. Click the Security tab at the top of the screen
  3. Click Custom Level and scroll down to the Cookies section
  4. Select "Always accept cookies" or "Prompt before accepting cookies" and click OK

Mozilla (including Firefox)

Version 2.x

  1. Click Edit on the menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences
  2. Find "Privacy" in tabs across the top and select it.
  3. Ensure that the 'Accept cookies from sites' check box is checked

Version 1.x

  1. Click Edit on the menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences
  2. Find "Privacy & Security" in the menu on the left. If there is a [+] to the left of "Privacy & Security", click it.
  3. Select "Cookies".
  4. Select "Enable cookies for the originating web site only" or "Enable all cookies" and click "OK"

Safari

  1. Click Safari on the menu at the top of your screen and select Preferences
  2. Click the Security tab at the top of the window that appears
  3. Next to "Accept Cookies:", click "Always" or "Only for sites you navigate to"
  4. Close the window

Opera

  1. Press F12
  2. Click "Enable cookies"

Netscape Navigator

Version 6.x

  1. Click Edit on the menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences
  2. Find "Privacy & Security" in the menu on the left. If there is a triangle pointing to the right next to Privacy & Security, click it.
  3. Select "Cookies" under "Privacy & Security"
  4. Select "Enable cookies for the originating web site only" or "Enable all cookies" and click "OK"

Version 4.x

  1. Click Edit on the menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences
  2. Select "Advanced"
  3. Select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server" and click OK
