Antoinette Drinkhill, Headteacher, St. John the Baptist Primary School: “An organisation that you can turn to, that is dedicated to support you in your role, which I think The Key feels to me as though it is, has been a real time saver.”

Danny Moloney, Headteacher, George Abbot School, Surrey: “Well, it’s like having an encyclopaedia at your right hand, I suppose, and without having to work your way through the pages to get the answers.”

Andy Buck, Headteacher, Jo Richardson Community School, Essex: “If you’re looking just overall at your staffing levels within your senior team and your capacity as a senior team to do all the things you need to do, having The Key there, it’s kind of like having another member of SMT as a partner, really.”

Kulvarn Atwal, Assistant Headteacher, Colegrave Primary School, London: "When you have someone coming in to your school who’s worked in other schools, they bring other viewpoints, that’s one of the things The Key can do in terms of different experiences, different viewpoints, different practices.”

Hilary Gilbody, School Business Manager & Bursar, Peak School, Derbyshire: “Inputting a question to The Key on an area that you’re not sure about, you get a really good, very clear response.”

Julie-Anne Tallon, Deputy Headteacher, Abbey RC Primary School, Birmingham: “We had some issues around assessment for KS1 so I’ve asked for some support with those but I’ve also asked for support on the Every Child Matters agenda and how we can use Business Enterprise to support the KS1 and KS2 children and that’s been really useful.”

Danny Moloney, Headteacher: “Trust School status, Academies, government changes in the high performing schools criteria, issues like that, where policies have changed, very recently, and you’re looking to be brought up to date quite specifically in an area.”

Andy Buck, Headteacher: “What you’ll also have is information in a written format which you can then circulate, use again, store, archive, whatever, which is just what you need as a school leader.”

Hilary Gilbody, School Business Manager & Bursar: “If I was to employ a secretary or a personal assist to assist me to do this research, they haven’t got the skills or the knowledge that the consultants at The Key have, so it’d be rather foolish of me to do that, particularly as I’m getting this service for nothing.”

Jo Jennings, Deputy Headteacher, Ninelands Primary School, Yorkshire: “It saves leaders like myself an awful lot of time, we’re not having to reinvent the wheel.”

Julie-Anne Tallon, Deputy Headteacher: “It’s so concise, it’s got exactly what you want and not pages and pages and pages of things for you to read.”

Jon Howard-Drake, Headteacher: “It removes a lot of frustration, the sense of enjoyment is that you got very relevant information very quickly and I think in the stresses and stains of being a head in the modern school, that’s an absolute goldmine.”
